SpecialKids sees a wide range of children, all of whom are unique and lovely in their own ways. We see the potential in each child and we work to harness that potential in order to optimize the children’s developmental progress. This will help them to become independent, able and ready to participate in their best capacity in society.
Children we work with include children with social communicaton difficulties such as those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), children with attention issues such as those with Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), children with interaction issues as seen in those with ASD, ADHD, selective mutism and social anxiety, children with coordination issues such as those with Dyspraxia / Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) and mild cerebral palsy (CP) as well as those with learning issues such as slow learners, children with Dyslexia / Dyscalculia / Learning Disabilities (LD) and those with mild cognitive delays.
We recognize each child is different and every child matters. It is in their early childhood years that Early Intervention can make a difference. Be it through communication training, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, structured teaching or specialist teaching, we work out individualized educational plans for those in Early Intervention and specific goals for those in various programmes.
